    Mrs. Beulah M. McCarty

    Mrs. Beulah M. McCarty, 69, Topeka, died Sunday, Nov. 23, at a Topeka hospital.

    Mrs. McCarty was a nurses’ aide before she retired.

    She was born Sept. 13, 1917, at Cabery, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Abs. She lived in Topeka several years.

    Mrs. McCarty was a member of Helena Chapter No. 210 of Order of Eastern Star.

    Her husband, John H. McCarty, died Oct. 1, 1969.

    Survivors include two daughters, Grace Martinek and Mary Ducello, Both of Topeka, son, Daniel Harry Ducello, Roseburg, Ore.; three sisters, Josephine Bergman, Reseda, Calif., Betty Pratt, Cambria, Calif., and Mary Jane Mouere, Mahnomen, Minn.; and six grandchildren.

    Mrs. McCarty was cremated. Helena Chapter No. 210 of Order of Eastern Star will conduct memorial services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Inurnment arrangements are pending. Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Hospital, 600 Madison, 66607, or to the American Cancer Society, 3003 Van Buren, 66611.
