  Obituary- Gouge, Christy Christy L. Gouge Christy L. Gouge, 44, Valley Falls, died Aug. 26, 2006, at her home after an extended illness. She was born Dec. 14, 1961, at Baldwin Park, Calif., the daughter of Thomas Seth and Dorrilla Loraine Tuller Allen. She obtained a degree from the American Academy of Hair Design at Topeka and worked as a cosmetologist for 12 years. She was also a secretary at Barstow Glass and State Farm Insurance, both at Barstow, Calif. She was a member of the American Legion Riders and Women’s Auxiliary, Post No. 242, Nortonville. She volunteered for meals on wheels in Oskaloosa. She married Thomas Burdette Gouge June 24, 1989, at Las Vegas. He survives at the home. Other survivors include her father and stepmother, Thomas Seth and Dorothy Lee Allen, Helendale, Calif.; her mother of Emmett; two stepsons, Toby Gouge, Klemme, Iowa, and Todd Gouge, Topeka; a sister, Cathy McCullough, Delia; and three grandchildren. Cremation was planned. A memorial service was held Aug. 29 at the Jefferson Assembly of God Church, Meriden.
