Dibbern, 19, both of the Delia neighborhood, were granted a license to wed Wednesday by the probate judge at Topeka. Mrs. Dibbern is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Banta. She was formerly one of the "Central" girls at Delia.
  		Anniversary- Dibbern, Henry and Mabel 1 Dibberns to Celebrate Golden Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dibbern will be guests of honor at an open house to be held at Myron Green’s in Topeka on Sunday, June 9, 1974, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., honoring their 50th wedding anniversary. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple requests that no gifts be presented. Their children are Merle and Shirley Ross, Topeka; Geneva and Lloyd Whitfield, Mishawaka, Ind.; Avis and Dean Bratton, Collinsville, Okla.; Louise and Lloyd Brandenburg, Topeka; Floyd and Jean Dibbern, Topeka, and the late Harold Dibbern. They have 13 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. Henry Dibbern and Mabel Banta were married June 4, 1924, in Delia. Mr. Dibbern is retired from Kansas Power and Light Co. Mrs. Dibbern had been employed by Hollywood- Maxwell, an apparel maker.

• Documents		Obituary- Dibbern, Mabel Dibbern Mabel Leota Dibbern, 94, Topeka, died Wednesday, July 19, 2000 at a local care home facility. Mabel was born Jan. 20, 1906, in Meriden to Floyd Everett and Mertie Ione Cochren Banta. Mabel was an avid gardner [sic] and had a deep love for flowers and animals. She graduated from Delia High School in 1924. She married Henry Dibbern on June 4, 1924 in Delia, where they farmed for many years. Mr. Dibbern passed away Jan. 4, 1996. She is preceded in death by one son, Harold Dibbern, 1970, one daughter Shirley Ross, 1994, and three sisters. Survivors include a son Floyd Dibbern, Topeka; three daughters, Louise Brandenburg, Topeka; Avis Bratton, Collinsville, Okla.; Geneva Whitfield, Mishawaka, Ind.; 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren. Services were Friday, July 21, 2000 at 9 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial was at Mount Hope Cemetery. Penwell Gabel Mid-Town Chapel was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given to Heart of America Hospice.
