    Susie Parmentier
    MARYSVILLE – Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville for Susie I. Parmentier, 80, Marysville, who was killed Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, in a head-on collision on US-24 highway about two miles west of Belvue in Pottawatomie County.

    She was born April 6, 1921, near Frankfort, to Fritz and Erma Kipp Benteman. She lived in Marysville for many years.

    She married Harold “Babe” Parmentier on March 4, 1939, in Frankfort. He died July 14, 1992.

    Survivors include a son, Richard Parmentier, Rossville; a daughter, Dorothy Ricketts, Clay Center; six brothers, Norman Benteman, Concordia, Mo., Frank Benteman, Lee Benteman and Milton Benteman, all in Topeka, Fritz Benteman, Lawrence, and George Benteman, Eskridge; four sisters, Mabel Beem, Godfrey, Ill., Bertha Epperson, Hillsboro, Martha Mullins, in West Virginia, and Florence Kennedy, Greenleaf; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Parmentier was cremated. Burial will be in Barrrett Cemetery south of Frankfort. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the mortuary.

    Memorial contributions may be made to Meadowlark Hospice.
