    Eleanor B. Price
    Eleanor B. Price, 87, Silver Lake, a long-time resident of North Topeka, passed away on Dec. 29, 2008. Mrs.
    Price was born to Swedish parents, Bert and Anna Berg on June 26, 1921, at Craig, Neb.

    She married Arthur O. “Tex” Price in 1941. He preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 2007.

    Two daughters survive: Linda Verge and husband Don, and Judy Wade and husband Tom Jr., all of Silver Lake. Other survivors include seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers and extended family.

    Eleanor and her husband were charter founders of Rubber Workers Federal Credit Union where Eleanor began her career in 1956 and served as manager until her retirement in 1987. The Prices were honored with a plaque for 50 years of membership at North Topeka Baptist Church.

    Services were held Jan. 3 at Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel. Burial followed in Silver Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to North Topeka Baptist Church, 123 N.W.
