Brennan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Brennan, St. Marys, Saturday morning, January 16, at the Immaculate Conception Church at St. Marys. The Rev. Gerald VanAckeren, S.J. officiated at the double ring ceremony and read the nuptial mass before an altar decorated with pink gladioli. Miss Jeannine Mock, Sabetha, Kansas, played the wedding music and accompanied Miss Mary Alice Passman of Topeka, who sang Shubert's "Ave Maria", "Pan Angelicus", "Mother, At Thy Feet I'm Kneeling". The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white lace and tulle over satin, with hooped skirt. The bolero jacket was fashioned with long sleeves tapered at the hands. The veil of nylon net was held in place by a cloche of matching lace edged in pearls and rhinestones. She wore a single strand of pearls, gift from the groom and carried a colonial bouquet of white roses. Mrs. Joe Plantamura, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor and wore a ballerina length dress of seafoam green pure silk and net, fashioned with fitted bodice, full skirt and matching net stole and coronet. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink roses. Dr. James Brennan, brother of the groom, served as best man. The ushers were the grooms brother, Edward Brennan, and cousin, Robert McNieve of Topeka. A reception was held after the wed- [error in article] at the bride's home. The table was covered with lace cloth and centered with a three tiered wedding cake surrounded with pink carnations and greenery. Crystal candelabra held pink tapers. Mrs. Glenn Groves of Long Beach, California, Miss Mary Alice Passman and Mrs. John Olson, Topeka, assisted with the serving. Miss Jeannine Mock, Sabetha, had charge of the guest book. Mrs. Brennan graduated from Rossville High School and St. Mary College, Xavier, where she received a Bachelor of Music Education Degree. Mr. Brennan graduated from Immaculate Conception High School at St. Marys and attended Creighton University and Rockhurst College. The couple left Saturday afternoon on a short wedding trip after which Mr. Brennan, who is a Yeoman First Class in the U.S. Coast Guard, returned to Juneau, Alaska. Mrs. Brennan will join him later. George Klasinsky officiating. Parents of the couple are Mrs. Joyce M. Brennan, Rossville, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Kerwin, Delia. Attending the bride were Mrs. Keith Catron and Gay Crawford, both of Rossville. The bridegroom’s attendants were Kevin Kerwin, Delia, and Keith Catron, Rossville. Mrs. Kerwin received a business administration degree from Kansas State University and is a fiscal manager at Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging. Mr. Kerwin is a graduate of St. Marys High School and is a farmer. The couple is at home at Route 1, Delia.
  		Marriage- Brennan, Lisa-Kerwin, Michael 2 Lisa Ann Brennan, daughter of Mrs. Joyce M. Brennan, Rossville, and Michael Anthony Kerwin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Kerwin, Delia, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 1979, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Delia. The Reverend George Klasinski officiated at the double ring ceremony and Nuptial Mass. The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Frank Brennan, wore a gown of ivory organza and lace. The stand collar of Chantilly lace rose from the yoke of lace accented by an edge of crystal pleating. The full bishop sleeves were finished at the wrist by narrow cuffs with petite ruffles of pleating. The full skirt fell to floor length from the raised waist that was encircled by a satin ribbon. The hem of the skirt was created by a ruffled hem of pleating which swept back into a chapel train with a bustle design. The veil of illusion was held by a dainty cap of lace which completed the bridal ensemble. Colleen Catron, Rossville, was her sister’s matron of honor. Gay Crawford, Rossville, was a bridesmaid. Janelle Ronnau, St. Marys, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. Bryan Poppelreiter, Maple Hill, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. The bride’s attendants and flower girl wore floor length dresses of qiana knit in a rust-colored small print. Their dresses were long-sleeved and belled at the waist. Kevin Kerwin, Delia, was his brother’s best man. Keith Catron, Rossville, was a groomsman. Ushers were John Floersch, Rossville, and Paul Brennan, brother of the bride. The groom and ring bearer wore grey Byron cut-a-way tuxedos with white shirts. All of the groom’s attendants and ushers wore grey Byron stroller tuxedos with white shirts. The bride's mother wore a floor length gown of apricot with white accessories. The groom’s mother wore a floor length gown of pale, mint green knit with silver accessories. Dwight Martinek, Delia, was the lector, Dustin Martinek, Delia, and Patrick Kerwin, brother of the groom, were the Mass servers. Mrs. Beverly Martinek, Delia, was the organist. Several guitar selections were sung by Dana Rodenbaugh, Atchison, before and during the ceremony. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Rossville. The wedding cake and punch were served by Mrs. Mary Channel, Mrs. Ann Monhollon, and Mrs. Marie Sullivan. Assisting at the gift table were Mrs. Jean Poppelreiter, Mrs. Marita Ronnau, and Mrs. Janet Foresman. Mrs. Patty McQueen was in charge of the guest book. A buffet dinner for relatives and friends was served following the reception. Mrs. Kerwin is a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in business administration. She is employed by the Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging as the fiscal manager. Mr. Kerwin is a graduate of St. Marys High School and is engaged in farming. After a honeymoon trip to Colorado, the Kerwins are making their home in Delia.
