    Susan Marie Anspaugh
    Susan Marie Anspaugh was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on November 20, 2019. She was born on November 15, 1954 to John and Stella (Holler) Cain in Holton, Kansas.

    She was married to Glenn E Anspaugh on November 18, 1973 and together they had two children, Tanya Marie and Craig Ryan. She was blessed with two beautiful grandsons that she adored, Ryan Ross and Carson James. Susan and Glenn were divorced on September 6, 2019.

    Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Rossville Christian Church. The family will be welcoming friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 6 p.m. also at Rossville Christian Church.

    Susan Marie Anspaugh was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on November 20, 2019. She was born on November 15, 1954 to John and Stella (Holler) Cain in Holton, Kansas.

    She was married to Glenn E Anspaugh on November 18, 1973 and together they had two children, Tanya Marie and Craig Ryan. She was blessed with two beautiful grandsons that she adored, Ryan Ross and Carson James. Susan and Glenn were divorced on September 6, 2019.

    Susan attended Valley Falls High School where she graduated in 1972. She attended Vo-Tech and received her CNA certificate. Susan worked for Ohse Meats/Farmland Foods from 1974 until 2000. She then took classes and became an Administrative Assistant for Valeo Behavioral Health in 2002 until she retired in 2018.

    Susan loved to cook for others and host family dinners. Her grandson remembers that she would call them all to the table with her ear-piercing whistle. She was well known for her delicious humongous apple pies. Music was always a part of her life. She loved to listen to all genres. Susan liked to play cards and games of all kinds. She loved being around people and visiting with them. Susan’s grandsons were adored and well loved by her. She loved to brag on their accomplishments and enjoyed going to their activities. Family was extremely important to Susan and she wished for all of them to put the Lord first in their lives.

    Susan was preceded in death by her parents John and Stella, brothers Loren, Mark, Duane and Neldon and sisters Suzanne, Darlene, Vicki, and Jeanine.

    Susan is survived by her children: Tanya of the home and Craig (Jewel) of Topeka and her Grandsons, Ryan and Carson; brothers John “Jack” (Doris) Cain of San Antonio, TX; James “Bud” (Carolyn) Cain of Topeka, KS; Gary (Peg) Cain of Topeka, KS and sisters Laura “Sis” (Bob) Scripter of Durand, MI; Cheryl (William) Shillcutt of Fayetteville, NC; and sister-in-law Debbie Cain of Rossville, KS. Susan is also survived by 32 nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.

    Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Rossville Christian Church. The family will be welcoming friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 6 p.m. also at Rossville Christian Church.
