The Reverend Joe Detamore officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Miss Marie Carwile, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. William Graham, Hampton, Va., and Miss Maura Wilson, Richmond, Va. Mr. David Hallmark, brother of the groom, Frankfort, served as best man. Ushers were Carl Brothers, Baileyville, and David Williams, III, Richmond, Va. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Carwile entertained after the ceremony with a reception in the fellowship hall of the church. The bride is a graduate of E. C. Glass High School in Lynchburg, and received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Longwood College in Farmville, Va. The groom is a graduate of St. Marys High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Kansas State University. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Hallmark entertained Kansas relatives and friends with a reception at the Rossville Community Center on Saturday, March 24. The couple is now living in Denison, Tex., where they are both studying piano technology.
  		Engagement- Carwile, Brenda-Hallmark, Alan Brenda Carwile to Wed Alan Hallmark in March Mr. and Mrs. Henry Carwile, Lynchburg, Va. announce the engagement of their daughter, Brenda, to Alan Hallmark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Hallmark, St. Marys. Miss Carwile is a graduate of E. C. Glass High School, Lynchburg, and received a B.M.E. degree from Longwood College of Farmville, Va. For three years she was an elementary music instructor for the Loudoun County (Va.) schools. Mr. Hallmark is a graduate of St. Marys High School and received a B.S. degree in music education from Kansas State University. For two years he was music instructor for the B & B school district at Baileyville, Ks. At present, Mr. Hallmark and Miss Carwile are attending Grayson County College at Denison, Tex., where they are studying piano technology. Their wedding is planned for March 17.
