    Agnes Irene Stein
    Agnes Irene Stein, 86, of Topeka, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 26,2014.

    Agnes was born on June 1,1928, in Emmett KS, the daughter of James T. and Justine (Coon) Clark. She married James D. Stein in 1955 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Topeka. He preceded her in death in 1978. Agnes worked for 43 years at the Santa Fe Railroad. She was a devout member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

    Agnes is survived by her sons, Jim Stein, Aurora CO and Jeff Stein (Liz), San Jose CA; grandchildren, Brian Nix, James Stein, Cassandra Fisher, Matthew Stein and Alexandra Stein; great-grandchildren, Destin Nix and Noah Nix; siblings, Marguerite Bond, Delia KS and John Clark, Emporia KS. She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Gene Clark, Monica Doll, George Clark and Joe Clark.

    A parish rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Thursday at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. Family will greet friends following the rosary until 8 p.m. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 12 p.m. Friday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
