    Obituary- Stalker, Elizabeth
    Elizabeth M. Coffin was born April 19, 1825, in Salem, Washington county, Ind. She professed faith in Christ at the age of fifteen and united with the Baptist church .... She was married September 12th, 1854, to Elisha L. Stalker, and died at her home at Adrian, Jackson county, Kansas, January 11th, 1888 being , fifty-two years, eight months and twenty-two days old. She was the mother of fourteen children, ten of whom are living. They moved to Kansas, this county from Washington county, Ind., in the fall of 1869. They settled' in the present school district, where only too white families preceded them .... her resting place in Little. Cross Creek cemetery ...
