    Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Tomson, Delia, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, August 23, 1992.

    Their children, Gary and Sandy Tomson, Lloyd and Patricia Tomson, Linda and Chub Acker, and Carole and Ron Kincaid, will host a family dinner in their honor.

    Margaret A. Tomson
    St. Marys - Margaret A. Tomson, 94, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the St. Marys Manor.

    She was born January 22, 1920 at St. Marys, one of 13 children of John Richard and Mary Veronica Brunin Dohrman. Mrs. Tomson graduated from Immaculate Conception Catholic High School in St. Marys.

    She had worked at the St. Marys Manor and retired from USD No. 321 as a cook. Mrs. Tomson was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

    On August 23, 1942 she was united in marriage to Wilbur John Thomson in St. Marys. He preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1993. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters.

    Survivors include two sons, Gary (Sandy) Tomson and Lloyd (Patricia) Tomson, all of Rossville; two daughters, Linda Acker, St. Marys, and Carol (Ron) Kincaid, Olsburg; a sister, Delores [sic Dolores] Floersch, Rossville; nine grandchildren, Chris, Craig, Christi, Jill, Crystal, Rodney, Lasey, Tammie and Jessi; 20 great-grandchildren and Maggie the grand-dog.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys.

    Mrs. Tomson will lie in state after 3:00 P.M. Monday May 19, 2014 at the funeral home, where there will be a rosary recited at 7:00 P.M.

    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice or the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Front Step Construction Fund and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home.
