    GLADYS M. MULLER
    Gladys M. Muller was born Oct. 16, 1929, and died Nov. 25, 2007. The Lord took mom on her mother’s 100th birthday. She was born in Emporia and lived most of her life in the Topeka area.

    Gladys was a longtime employee of the State of Kansas. She was a proud member of the Jimmie Lillard American Legion Post No. 31 Auxiliary at Rossville.

    She was preceded in death by her husband Francis “Frank” Muller, mother, Rosie Duncan, sons, John A. Steelman and James W. Steelman and grandson Andrew N. Steelman.

    Survivors include two daughters, Peggy J. Steelman and Leslie S. Allen; grandchildren, Jami (Steve) Delanoy, Benjamin J. Steelman, Jennifer (Shawn) Steelman-Wadkins, Albert Torrez, Matthew Torrez and John J. “J.J.” Leyba; great-grandchildren, Antonio M. Wadkins and Lorenzo V. Wadkins. Gladys had other numerous family and friends.

    Memorial services were held Saturday, Dec. 1, at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys.

    Inurnment was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys.
