    Ruth Holman
    Mrs. Ruth Holman, 88, Topeka, died Wednesday, February 11, 1987, at a Topeka convalescent center.

    Mrs. Holman was a licensed practical nurse. She worked at the Supply Depot during World War II.

    She was born June 1, 1898, at Bevier, Mo., the daughter of John B. and Elizabeth Jane Davis Evans. She spent most of her life in Kansas and had lived in Topeka since 1971.

    The family lived in Emmett where the children attended school prior to 1971.

    Ruth was married to Robert L. Holman April 25, 1920, at Bevier, Mo. He died in 1966.

    Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Wilmoth Williams, Topeka, and Mrs. Arlene Hazlett, Hood River, Ore.; a son, Bob Holman, Sacramento, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

    Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Richardsdale Cemetery in Bevier, Mo. Parker-Price Mortuary was in charge of Topeka arrangements. Carney Funeral Chapel at Macon, Mo. was in charge of Missouri arrangements.

    Mrs. Ruth Holman

    Mrs. Ruth Holman, 88, 515 Horne, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, at a Topeka convalescent center.
