  Obituary- Baumchen, Alice Mrs. Alice M. Baumchen Mrs. Alice M. Baumchen, 74, St. Marys, died late Monday at a Topeka hospital. She was born Dec. 28, 1907, at Delia, the daughter of John and Alice McNeive Fennell, and lived at St. Marys since 1930. Mrs. Baumchen was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at St.-Marys. She was married to Herman Baumchen Oct. 14, 1930, at Emmett. He sur¬vives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary K. McGarity, 5418 Avalon Lane, Topeka; two sisters, Ann Fennell, St. Marys, and Mrs. Kathryn Scott, Dallas; and four grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Bur¬ial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys.
