    Dorothy W. Onek
    ROSSVILLE – Dorothy W. Onek, 87, Rossville, formerly of Hiawatha, died Friday, Jan 21, 1994, at a Rossville nursing home.

    She was born June 1, 1906, in Powhattan, the daughter of Henry Francis and Frieda Brockhoff Fiegenbaum.

    Mrs. Onek was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hiawatha and Christ Lutheran Church in Topeka.

    She was married to George Onek May 22, 1926, in Atchison. He died Aug. 9, 1992.

    Survivors include three daughters, Martha Biesenthal and Wilma Bosse, both of Wheaton, and Kathryn Berg, Topeka; two sons, Robert Onek, Topeka, and Louis Onek, Lebo; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

    Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Framke-Casselman-Meek Funeral Home at Hiawatha. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at Hiawatha. Mrs. Onek will lie in state today at the funeral home, where family and friends will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to The Lutheran Hour radio program in care of the funeral home.
