    HOLTON - Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton, for Mrs. Harriett Hards Gocsik, 67, Holton, who died Thursday at Fargo, N.D., hospital where she had been about three weeks.
    She was born Dec. 8, 1908, in Kirksville, Mo., the daughter of DeeCloud and Millie Jane Stivers Griswold.
    She worked in a tuberculosis sanatorium in New York City and lived in Farmingdale, Long Island, N.Y., for about 15 years. She spent the rest of her life in the Holton and Mayetta communities.
    She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary and the Holton Baptist Church, both oat Holton.
    She was married to Charles H. Hards Sr., in 1924 in Kirksville, Mo. He died Sept. 25, 1956. SShe married Michael Gocsik on June 28, 1971, in New York City. He died March 29, 1975.
    Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy L. Hayman, Ft. Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Elsie Reed, Fargo, N.D.; a son, Charles H. Hards, Jr., Richmond, Ca.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Mary Dartin, Pasadena, Ca., and Mrs. Esther Mansfield, Rossville; five step-sons, Leo Hards, Topeka, Chester Hards, 1508 E. 4th, Topeka, Ernest Hards, Sabetha, Harvey Hards, Hiawatha, and Raymond Hards, Holton; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
    Burial will be in the Mayetta Cemetery, Mayetta.
