    Mrs. Nora Hurla
    Mrs. Nora A. Hurla, 65, Delia, died Tuesday in a Topeka hospital where she was admitted Dec. 17 and underwent surgery Monday. She had a brain tumor.

    She was born Feb. 20, 1904, at Delia where she spent most of her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Delia and the Altar Society at the church.

    She was married to Theodore Hurla Feb. 10, 1949.

    Besides her husband, survivors include three sisters, Helen M. Halloran, 812 Topeka, Mrs. Mary L. DeBacker, 2218 Wilmington Court, and Mrs. M. Catherine Simecka, 828 Bucha¬nan.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Ca¬tholic Church at Delia. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys.

    Brain tumor is fatal to Mrs. Hurla
    Mrs. Nora A. Hurla, 65, a resident of Delia most of her life; died unexpectedly Tuesday in a Topeka hospital where she had been admitted on Dec. 17. She underwent surgery for a brain, tumor on Dec. 22 and died the following day.

    A native of Delia, born on Feb. 20, 1904, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Delia, and the Altar Society of the church.

    She was married to Theodore Hurla on. Feb. 10, 1949. Besides her husband, she leaves three sisters: Helen M. Halloran, Mrs. Mary L. DeBacker, Mrs. M. Catherine Simecka, all of Topeka.

    Services were held Saturday from the church, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. The Verschelden Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement.
