    Helen Dohrman-Burgett
    Helen Dohrman-Burgett, 82, Newton, died Monday, July 28, 2003, at her home.
    She was born March 6, 1921, in Delia, the daughter of Patrick and Mary McCoy Hanrahan.
    She graduated from Topeka Business College. She was a former owner of Newton Livestock Company, Newton.
    She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Newton.
    She was a former business owner and resident of St. Marys.
    She married Raphael “Ray” Dohrman February 5, 1940, in Delia. He died December 6, 1984. She married Joseph Burgett on April 19, 1986. He died July 25, 1996.
    Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Koch, Newton; three stepsons, Gary Burgett, Franklin, TN, Terry Burgett, Topeka, and Greg Burgett, Carbondale; four grand-daughters; and nine great-grandchildren.
    Her service was at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial was in Restlawn Gardens of Memory, Newton. Family visitation was held from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Peterson Funeral Home, Newton, where a rosary was recited at 8 p.m.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or Central Homecare and Hospice, and sent in care of Peterson Funeral Home, 215 N. Main, Newton 67114.

    NEWTON —Helen L. Dohrman-Burgett, 82, Newton, died Monday, July 28,2003, at her home.
    She was born March 6, 1921, in Delia, to Patrick Hanrahan and Mary McCoy. She graduated from Topeka Business College in Topeka.
    She was the former owner of Newton Livestock Co.
    She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton.
    She married Raphael “Ray” Dohrman on Feb. 5, 1940, in Del¬la. He died Dec. 6, 1984. She later married Joseph Burgett on April 19, 1986. He died July 25, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her father and mother.
    Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy, and husband, Vern Koch, Newton; four granddaughters, Rae, and husband Doug
    Niles, Sedgwick, Dana, and husband, Terry Knott, Hesston, Joy, and husband, Kory Gehrer, and Jana, and husband, Lance McKinney, both of Newton; three stepsons, Gary Burgett, Franklin, Tenn., Terry, and wife, Judy Burgett, Topeka, and Greg, and wife, Mary Burgett, Carbondale; and nine great-grandchildren.
    Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will be in Restlawn Gardens of Memory in Newton. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Peter¬son Funeral Home in Newton, where a rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
