    Valerie Lee Gee, 44, Rossville, died Tuesday, January 28, 1997, at a Topeka hospital.

    She had lived in the Rossville community since September, 1987.

    She was born November 9, 1952, in Lewisburg, PA, the daughter of Bernard J. and Audrey Munson Herbst.

    She was graduated from Lewisburg High School, Lewisburg, PA, in 1970. She was graduated from Lock Haven University, Lock Haven, PA. She was a physical education teacher at Watsontown, PA, and at Turbotville Elementary School. She also coached field hockey, basketball and track at Watsontown High School. After moving to Rossville, she was a substitute teacher for one year, and then she was a homemaker, pastor’s wife, secretary and Sunday School and Bible teacher. She was a member of the Rossville Bible Church.

    She was married to Stephen M. Gee on August 8, 1987, in Sunbury, PA„ He survives.

    Other survivors include her parents, Bernard Herbst, Lewisburg, PA, and Audrey Herbst, in the Kramm Nursing Home, Milton, PA; three brothers, Ben Herbst, Visalia, CA, Dominic Herbst, Lewisburg, PA, and Dr. Vincent Herbst, Watsontown, PA; one sister, Dawn Bowen, Winfield, PA; seven nieces and three nephews.

    Her service was Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. at the Rossville Bible Church. Burial was in the Rossville Cemetery. Her family met with friends from 9:00 until service time Saturday at the Rossville Bible Church.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville Bible Church and sent in care of Piper- Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys.

    ROSSVILLE — Valerie Lee Gee, 44, Rossville, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1997, at a Topeka hospital.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Rossville Bible Church. Burial will be in the Rossville Cemetery. Mrs. Gee will lie in state after 9 a.m. Saturday at the Rossville Bible Church, where the family will visit with friends until service time.
