    Virginia Rose Hladky Reiners
    Virginia Rose Hladky Reiners, 75, St. Marys died Tuesday, December 20,2016 at the St. Marys Manor.

    She was bom August 18,1941 at Sundance, WY., the daughter of Howard Enos and Irene Isabelle Edwards Hladky. She moved to Kansas in 1943 to the Hladky farm then in 1948 she moved to Emmett. Virginia attended school in the Delia and Emmett communities. She played in the band in high school. She attended the Emmett Methodist Church in her youth and became a member in 1952. Virginia was a Girl Scout Leader. She completed courses by mail and received her nursing degree as an LPN in 1963.

    She married Ronald Houston in 1958 they lived in Emmett, and moved to Wakeeney. She returned to St. Marys after her divorce. On September 22,1962 she married Loran Reiners. In 1973 they moved to Tucson, AZ. where they lived until retirement. They lived in Indianapolis before moving back to St. Marys. Virginia enjoyed fishing, cross stich and crocheting. She loved animals, her pets and other family member pets were like children and grandchildren to her.

    Survivors include her husband Loran, St. Marys; two sons, Russell (Cynthia) Houston, Leavenworth and Terry (Suzanne) Reiners, Lavon, TX; her daughter, Nancy (Jack) Carpenter, Spokane, WA; two brothers, Merle (Joyce) Hladky and Gregory (Ann) Hladky all of Topeka; her sister, Jeraldine (Allen) Hineman, Lusk, WY; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Reiners was cremated. Private memorial services will be at a later date. Inurnment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
