    Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hudson

The marriage of Linda Lee Hurley and Larry Lavern Hudson was solemnized in an evening ceremony at 7:30 o'clock, September 9, in the Rossville Methodist Church. Rev. Don Jones officiated at the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John H. Hurley and Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Hudson.

Wedding music was provided by Mrs. J.C. Campbell and Shirley Hudson, sister of the groom, who sang "All for One" and "With This Ring" preceding the ceremony.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown designed and made by her grandmother, Mrs. Edith Hurley of Moran, Kansas. The dress featured a fitted bodice and front panel of white satin. The yoke, long pointed sleeves, and full skirt were of scalloped imported chantilly-type lace. The sabrina neckline was outlined with pearls and sequins. Her fingertip veil of pure silk illusion was held by a crown of pearls and she carried a cascade arrangement of yellow sweetheart roses and white feathered carnations.

Mrs. Duane Hudson, Topeka, was matron of honor and Mary K. Dolezilek was bridesmaid. The bride's sister, Denise Hurley, was flower girl, and Mark Henderson, Kingman, served as ring bearer. Robert and Barbara Hays, Topeka, nephew and niece of the groom, lighted the candles.

The matron of honor and bridesmaid wore dresses of lavender lace over taffeta, featuring scallops on the necklines and hems of the full skirts. The dresses were accented with sashes of taffeta and elbow-length bits. Their headbands were tailored bows with circlets of matching tulle. They carried cascade arrangements of yellow feathered carnations and ivy.

The flower girl was dressed in lavender nylon organdie which featured a full skirt. The bodice, sleeves, and collar were covered in white lace. She wore a matching headband and mitts and carried a white satin-covered basket filled with yellow rose petals.

Duane Hudson, Topeka, was best man for his brother and Edgar Tuller was groomsman. Ray Kovar and Arlyn Sage ushered.

The reception was held in the Rossville Community Center. Mrs. Merlin Hays, sister of the groom, had charge of the guest book and Kristie Hudson passed rice bags from a white satin basket with lavender bows. Assisting were Mrs. Wm. Farley, Carolyn Farley, Mrs. Leo Berry, Mrs. Gene Pelfrey, Mrs. Phyllis Henderson, Mrs. Harold Irwin, Marilyn Thomas and Shirley Hudson.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Hudson are graduates of Rossville Rural High School and are at home in an apartment in Rossville where the groom is self-employed as a carpenter.
