    EDNA M. PARR
    Mrs. Edna M. Parr, 85, Rossville, died Tuesday, October 28, 1980, at her home.

    She was born December 3, 1894, in Shawnee County, the daughter of Sherman and Ida James.

    Mrs. Parr and her husband farmed south of Rossville for many years.

    She was a member of the Rossville Christian Church and a 50-year member of Amaryllis Chapter No. 321 of the Order of Eastern Star, Rossville.

    She married Shirley O. Parr January 1, 1913. He died in December, 1958. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter.

    Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Lois Clanton and Mrs. Thelma Martin, both of Topeka; Mrs. Thora Stadler, Rossville, Mrs. Maxine Stadler, Bremerton, Wash., and Mrs. Lorene Harth, Bella Vista, Ark.; a brother, Floyd James, Chula Vista, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Vivian Albright, Portland, Ore.; 17 grandchildren; 33 greatgrandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

    Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Rossville Christian Church. Burial was in Rossville Cemetery. Parker-Price Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville Christian Church, Rossville, Ks. 66533.
