  Obituary- Matyak, Marcia Marcia Matyak Marcia Matyak, 65, of Topeka, passed away October 28, 2016. She was born January 26,1951 to Max and Lillian Johnson in Concordia, KS and grew up near Jamestown, Kansas. She graduated from Concordia High School in 1969 and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Emporia State University in 1973. Marcia is survived by four brothers, Kent, Karl, Mark and Randy Johnson; two daughters, Jenny (Dave) Siefer and Libby Matyak and two grandchildren, Lexi and Damon Siefer. A Celebration of Life will be held at Dove Cremation, two buildings west of S.W. 6th and Gage Blvd., on Friday, November 4,2016 at 3:00 p.m. All are welcome and bright colored attire is encouraged! Marcia had a love for books and she spent much of her life as a librarian. Spirituality was at the core of her being and was the keystone to her life. Marcia exuded love and joy to all whom she encountered and will be deeply missed.
