    Obituary- James, Mrs. Floyd
    MRS. FLOYD JAMES
Mr. and Mrs. Sherman James received a message last Friday afternoon giving news of the death of their son’s wife, Mrs. Floyd James. She passed away Thursday, February 2, in a hospital at Myrtle Point, Oregon.

Mrs. James’s death followed an illness of only seven days duration. The contributory cause was peritonitis.

Mr. and Mrs. James were married in 1920 and until four years ago, lived in and near Rossville. For the past four years they have made their home at Bridge, Oregon.

To this union three children were born, two daughters and one son— Fleta, aged 8, Duane, 6 and Doris, 4, who with their father mourn her loss. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joyce and five brothers and two sisters of St. Marys.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock from the Catholic church at St. Marys. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery at St. Marys.

  • Notes
    • She is possibly the daughter of William and Margaret Joyce, who are both buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys. Findagrave.com does not have any record of her burial at this time. Cannot determine her first name.
