    Reception Honors Couple—Mr. and Mrs. John Vernon Keller, Rossville, were the guests of honor at a surprise reception in their home Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Keller will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary Dec. 17.

    John Kellers Surprised with Anniversary Party

    Mr. and Mrs. John Vernon Keller, Rossville, were honored with a surprise 35th wedding anniversary party on Saturday, November 29. The party was given by their children -- Skip and Karen Keller, Roger and Bonnie Bush, Mick and Jan Keller, and Dave and Connie Jeanneret.

    The evening was spent playing cards and visiting.     John and Bonnie Keller. Rossville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today with a family dinner.

    John Vernon Keller and Bonnie Groff were married Dec. 17, 1945, in Topeka.

    They are the parents of Skip and Karen Keller, Emmett; Bonnie and Roger Bush, and Mick Keller, all of Rossville; and Connie and Don Mulanax, St. Marys. They have nine grandchildren.

    Mr. Keller is retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. Mrs. Keller previously worked for the Kaw Valley USD 321 food services and Channel’s Grocery.

    Bonnie and John Keller are celebrating their 60th anniversary with a card shower.

    John Vernon Keller and Bonnie Genevieve Groff were married Dec. 17,1945.

    They have four children:
    Skip, Bonnie Ellen, Mick and Connie Sue; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

    Bonnie E. Bush
    ROSSVILLE - Bonnie E. Bush, 52, Rossville, died Monday, July 16, 2001, shortly after arrival at a Topeka hospital after she was stricken ill.
    She was born Jan. 9, 1949, in Topeka. To John Vernon and Bonnie Groff Keller. She spent her early life in the Delia community and moved to Rossville during her senior year in high school in 1967. She was employed for many years by the Rossville-St. Marys school district. She was a secretary at Rossville Grade School and then worked in the special services department. She recently was a computer instructor in the school system.
    She married Roger Bush on Dec. 20, 1969 in Rossville. He survives.
    Other survivors include a son, John Michael Bush, Gardner; two daughters, Rebecca Lindstrom and Elizabeth Lindstrom, both in Silver Lake; her parents, John Vernon and Bonnie Keller, Rossville; two brothers, Lindsay "Skip" Keller, Emmett, and Michael V. Keller, Rossville; a sister, Connie Mulanax, Emmett; and three grandchildren.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Rossville. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Mrs. Bush will lie in state after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pier-Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys, where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Kaw Valley Unified School District 321 to be designated later and sent in care of the funeral home.
