Mr. Paul Henry Small and Miss Opal Lenora Kerr, of Topeka, were united in marriage Thursday, Dec. 27, by Rev. D. P. Mason, of the Independence, Mo. Baptist church. The marriage occurred at the Minister’s home.

Mr. Small has been a resident of Rossville for the past fifteen years, having been raised by Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Myers, whom he regards as his parents. He is a fine young man and for the past year has been employed by the Santa Fe in the Topeka shops.

Mrs. Small is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kerr, of 365 Chester avenue, Topeka.

Mr. and Mrs. Small came to the Myers home Friday evening where a wedding supper was served. Later in the evening Mr. Small’s former Sun day school classmates came in and the newly married couple was given a noisy charivari after which all came in and a social hour was spent together.

Mr. and Mrs. Small will be “at home” to their friends after the later part of January on the Dr. Howell farm southeast of Kiro.
