    Nellie E. “Betty” Attwood
    Nellie Elizabeth “Betty” Attwood, 83, Silver Lake, died Tues¬day, January 13, 1998, at the Rossville Valley Manor.
    She was born May 27, 1914, in Topeka, the daughter of Joseph E. and Loleta Godwin Kinnaird. She attended Clark Business School and was a lifelong Silver Lake res¬ident.
    Mrs. Attwood was a member of the Silver Lake Choir.
    She married Arthur Attwood October 18, 1941. He survives.
    Other survivors include a son, George Attwood, Alexandria, Ala.; a daughter, Mary Johnson, The Woodlands, Tex.; two sisters, Twila Jones, Hot Springs, Ark., and Ruby Kinnaird, Boulder, Colo.; and five grandchildren.
    Her service was at 1 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial was in the Silver Lake Cemetery.
