    Jean M. Huntsman
    Jean M. Huntsman, 62, Topeka, died Saturday, April 25, 1992, at St. Marys Manor.

    She was an assistant manager of food service at F.W. Woolworth in Topeka many years.

    She was born December 3, 1929, north of Rossville, the daughter of Edward C. and Edna M. Lee Kovar. She was graduated from Rossville High School in 1948, and attended Clark’s Business School.

    She was married to Jesse J. Huntsman on February 10, 1956. They were divorced. A daughter, Jeane Marie Huntsman, died in 1956.

    Survivors include a son, Gary Huntsman, Wichita; a daughter, Karren K. Huntsman, Topeka; a brother, Ray Kovar, St. Marys; and three sisters, Mae DeVader, Emmett, Virginia Crupper, Rossville, and Ruth Bunzel, Topeka.

    Friends and relatives met from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday. Services are at 2:00 Tuesday (this afternoon) at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.

    Contributions may be made to the Jean M. Huntsman Memorial Fund, c/o Verschelden Funeral Home, for an organization to be designated at a later date.

    Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. She will lie in state after 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday. Contributions may be made to the Jean M. Huntsman Memorial fund for an organization to be designated at a later date and sent in care of the funeral home.
