    Mr. and Mrs. Penaz were married November 18, 1909, in Topeka and have lived in the Delia community nearly all their lives. They have one daughter, Mrs. Lydia Scott of Manhattan.

    Rosie Penaz

    DELIA- Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Delia Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Rosie Penaz, 92, Rossville, who died Thursday in a Topeka hospital.

    She was born July 4, 1881 in Pozdechov Moravia, Czechoslovakia, and came to the Delia and Rossville communities when she was six years old and lived in those communities most of her life.

    She was married to Joseph Penaz in 1909, at Topeka. He died on Sept. 22, 1959. She was also preceded in death by three sons and a daughter.

    Mrs. Penaz was a member of Delia Presbyterian Church, and had been the oldest living member of Moravian Lodge No. 128, Rossville, receiving her 50-year pin in 1962.

    Survivors include a daughter, Lydia Stach, Rossville; a sister, Tressie Uhl, Route 3 Topeka; and two brothers, Frank Kratina, 1942 N. Quincy, Topeka, and John Kratina, Rossville.

    Burial will be in the Czech-Moravian Cemetery, north of Rossville.

    Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, is in charge of arrangements.
