    Mr. Cecil Lemon and Miss Anna Lee were united in marriage by the probate judge in his office at Topeka Wednesday morning. Both are popular young people living a few miles northwest of town--the groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Lemon and the bride has made her home for several years past with her uncle, Mr. Kennett.

    The Reporter joins their many friends in wishing them a long, happy and prosperous wedded life.

    Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lemon were pleasantly surprised last Sunday at the home of his mother, Mrs. Charley Lemon, where relatives gathered to help them celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. A covered dish luncheon was served cafeteria style. Mr. and Mrs. Lemon were presented with two sets of silver ware. The following relatives and friends were present: Mr. and Mrs. James Lee and sons, of Axtel, Ks., Mr. and Mrs. John Lee and sons of Vermilon; Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Holder and children of Soldier; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lee and family of Topeka; Mr. and Mrs. Troy Lemon. Miss Frances Whittington, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Carrol of Manhattan; Mrs. Dora Lee of Topeka; Miss Alice Lemon. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lemon and children.

    Mrs. Alice Farley
    Mrs. Alice Farley, 64, Rossville, died Tuesday night in a Topeka hospital where she was readmitted June 3. She had cancer four years and underwent surgery Nov. 20 and Dec. 6, 1972.
    She was born Dec. 2, 1910. She was married to William Farley. He survives.
    Parker Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

    Services were at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Christian Church at Rossville for Mrs. Alice D. Farley, 64, Rossville, who died Tuesday night, June 3, 1975 in a Topeka hospital where she was readmitted June 3. She had cancer and had been a patient in the same hospital many times in the past four years.
    She was born December 2, 1910 at Rossville and spent her life in the Rossville community. She formerly worked in the Rossville library and conducted the children’s storytime program at the library.
    She was a member of the Christian Church at Rossville.
    She was married to William Farley March 2, 1946. He survives.
    Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Harrison, St. Croix, V.I.; a son,
    Carl Farley, Rossville; four brothers, Harold Lemon, Topeka, Virgil Lemon, Rossville, Clyde Lemon, Des Moines, la., and Donald Lemon, Sioux City, la.; three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Carroll, Manhattan,
    Mrs. Anita VandeVelde, Emmett, and Mrs. Dorothy McDonald, Kansas City, Mo.; and two granddaughters.
    Burial was in the Rossville Cemetery under the direction of Parker Mortuary in Topeka.

    ROSSVILLE — Mrs. Alice D. Farley, 64, Rossville, died here Tuesday night.
    She was born Dec. 10, 1910, in Rossville and was married March 2, 1946 to William Farley. He survives.
    She was a member of the Rossville Christian Church and conducted story hour at the Rossville Public Library.
    Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Harrison, St. Croix, Virgin Islands; a son, Carl Farley, Rossville; four brothers, Harold Lemon, 1226 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka, Virgil Lemon, Rossville, Donald Lemon, Sioux City, Iowa, and Clyde Lemon, Des Moines; three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Carroll, Manhattan, Mrs. Anita VandeVelde, Emmett, and Mrs. Dorothy McDonald, Kansas City, and two grandchildren.
    Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rossville Christian Church with burial in Rossville Cemetery.
    Parker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association or the Rossville Christian Church.
