    HAZEL M. HARRIER
    Hazel M. Harrier, 82, Rossville, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.

    She was born Feb. 21, 1925, near Axtell, the daughter of Van Beuron and Flossie Lockhart. She grew up in Northeastern Kansas.

    Mrs. Harrier had been a legal secretary and later worked for the Topeka-Capital Journal. She had lived in Carbondale and Topeka before moving to Rossville. She was a member of the Rossville Presbyterian Church.

    She was married to Orville N. Harrier on June 2, 1945, in Topeka. He died, Feb. 15, 2003. A daughter Becky Dismang died in January 2005.

    Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Wright, Rossville; a brother and his wife, Glenn and Shirley Lockhart, Valley Falls; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Harrier bequeathed her body to the University of Kansas Medical School.

    Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the Rossville Presbyterian Church.

    Inurnment will be at a later date at the Rossville Cemetery.
