    Mrs. Stella George
    ST. MARYS – Service arrangements are pending at Verschelden Funeral Home here for Mrs. Stella Macha George, 49, Ormond Beach, Fla., who died Sunday in a hospital at Daytona Beach Fla. She had cancer.

    She was born Jan. 8, 1920, south of Delia in Jackson County and spent her early life in the Rossville and Delia communities. She had lived at Ormond Beach, Fla., several years.

    Survivors include a brother, Joseph Macha, Delia, and a sister, Mrs. Florence Tuller, Rossville.

    DEATH REPORT IS ERRONEOUS
    Reports of the death of Mrs. Stella Macha George, 49, Ormond Beach, Fla., are erroneous, members of the family informed The Star.

    It was reported that Mrs. George had died Sunday in a Daytona Beach, Fla., hospital.

    Mrs. Oliver Tuller, Rossville, a sister, informed The Star that Mrs. George had undergone surgery Sunday at Halifax District Hospital, Daytona Beach, and is in a serious condition.

    Mrs. George is a native of the Delia community.

    ROSSVILLE – Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church here for Mrs. Stella Macha George, 49, Ormond Beach, Fla., who died Saturday in a hospital at Ormond Beach, Fla. She had been ill nine months. She had cancer.

    She was born Jan 8, 1920, near Delia. She lived at Chicago about 22 years before she moved to Ormond Beach, Fla., about seven years ago. She had been a bakery employee.

    Survivors include a brother, Joseph Macha, Delia, and a sister Mrs. Florence Tuller, Rossville.

    Burial will be in Czech-Moravian Cemetery north of Rossville. Relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys.
