    John Ray Maude
    John Ray Maude, 53, of Topeka, passed away on April 7, 2015 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. He was born November 2, 1961 in Kansas City, KS, the son of Cecil Chapel and Helen Wiltfong. John enjoyed, woodworking, beading and fishing.

    He is survived by his sons, Russell Shobney of Wichita, Tyler Shobney of Delia and Tanner Shobney of Delia; two grandsons, Connor and Landon Shobney of Wichita and his mother, Helene Wiltfong of Topeka. John was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Degan in 2011. Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am.

    Thursday, April 16th First Baptist Church of Silver Lake, 3439 NW Hoch Rd, Silver Lake KS 66539. The family will have a celebration of life following the memorial service at Lake Shawnee.
