  Obituary- McCoid, Margaret Margaret Elizabeth McCoid SILVER LAKE — Margaret Elizabeth McCoid, 96, Silver Lake, died Friday, May 17, 1996, at a Rossville nursing home. Mrs. McCoid and her husband farmed in the Silver Lake and Rossville areas for many years. She was born June 29, 1899, at the Mulvane Ranch at Rossville, the daughter of Fred and Amy Ross McCullough. She graduated from Rossville High School in 1918 and from Strickler's Business Col¬lege at Topeka. Mrs. McCoid was a member of Silver Lake United Methodist Church and Loyal Chapter No. 176 of the Order of the Eastern Star at Silver Lake. She married Reuben McCoid on April 7, 1920, at Rossville. He died Oct. 27, 1966. Mrs. McCoid also was preceded in death by two grandsons, Steven Gray and Michael Brewster. Survivors include four daughters, Marjorie Day, Lawton, Okla., Gwendolyn McCoid, Topeka, Marilyn Gray, Belton, Mo., and Winifred Brewster, Silver Lake; a sister, Winifred Anderson, Tulsa, Okla.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandson. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Silver Lake United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Silver Lake Cemetery. Mrs. McCoid will lie in state after 10 a.m. Sunday at the Parker-Price Mortuary where relatives and friends will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Silver Lake United Methodist Church, P.O.
