The bride is a graduate of Frankfort High School and Washburn University. where she completed training as a legal assistant. She is employed by the State of Kansas, Clerk of the District Court in Topeka as a deputy clerk. The bridegroom is a graduate of Rossville High School and attended Dodge City Community College. He is employed by Hallmark Cards Inc. in Topeka. After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, they are at home in Topeka.
