    Doloris Gardner
    Doloris Irene “Dee” Gardner, 75, Midwest City, Okla., died Friday, March 16, 2001, at her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary.

    She was born Oct. 3, 1925, at Delia, the daughter of Asa Alfred and Hazel Iva Wilson Murren. She graduated from high school in Delia and worked a for few years for Montgomery Wards. She moved to Midwest City, Okla., from Ogden, Utah, in 1967. She earlier had lived in Mobile, Ala.

    She married Wyatt Raymond Gardner on Feb. 19, 1947, in Topeka. He died Oct. 12, 1990. Mrs. Gardner also was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Renee Lynn Gardner, in 1956.

    Survivors include a brother, Leroy V. Murren, Overbrook.

    Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Gardner will lie in state after 4 p.m. Monday at the mortuary, where visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m.

    Doloris Irene “Dee” Gardner, 75, died Friday, March 15, 2001, at her home in Midwest City, OK.

    She was born October 3, 1925, in Delia, the daughter of Asa Alfred and Hazel Iva Wilson Murren.

    She was reared in the Delia area and graduated from Delia High School. In the late 1950s, Dee moved to Mobile, AL. From there she moved to Ogden, UT, and then to Midwest City, OK, where she had lived since 1967. She was a homemaker and worked for a few years at Montgomery Ward.

    On February 19, 1947, she married Wyatt Raymond Gardner in Topeka. He died October 12, 1990. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Renee Lynn Gardner, in 1956.

    Surviving her are a brother, Leroy V. Murren, Overbrook; and her administrator and namesake, Deloris Souders Ray.

    The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Her service was at 10:00 Tuesday (this morning) at the Parker-Price Chapel. Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Gardens, Topeka.
