    Frances V. Jepson

    Mrs. Frances Virginia Jepson, 60, RR 3, died Wednesday in Providence-St. Margaret Health Center, Kansas City, Kan.

    The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church, Basehor. The Rev. Robert Heizer, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Kan.

    Mrs. Jepson was born May 10, 1924 at Phillipsburg, the daughter of Ernest Vernon and Vera Virginia Norton. She spent her childhood in the Phillipsburg and Rossville areas. She was a World War II veteran of the Women's Army Air Corp. Upon discharge, she moved to Topeka where she met and married Thomas Earl Jepson Jan. 30, 1946. They lived in the Kansas City area before moving to Leavenworth 26 years ago.

    She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Basehor, and served as a deaconess. She was very active in the Christian Women's Club and a leader of the Christian Bible study.

    She is survived by her husband, Thomas Jepson of the home; two daughters, Virginia Marie Forge and Shirley Maxine Monshower, both of Leavenworth; three sons, Dean Christian Jepson, Lansing, Earl Marvin Jepson, San Diego, Calif., and Darrell Hans Jepson, Angleton, Texas; one sister, Lavern Braden, Topeka; two stepbrothers, Glenn Hause, Topeka, and Wayne Hause, Hartsburg, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; one step grandson; and nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

    Friends may call today at the Davis Funeral Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 tonight. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church, Basehor.
