She was born March 21,1915, at Rossville, the daughter of John and Ethel Ropp Quirk, and lived in Topeka most of her life. Mrs. Kerwin was a licensed practical nurse. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Jean Dean, and two sons, Barney Dean and Lonnie Kerwin. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Yanna Gardner, 940 N.E. 62nd; a brother, Ed Baker, 1010 N.E. Calhoun Lane; and four grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Mrs. Kerwin will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
