  Obituary- Eichorn, Arlene ARLENE M. EICHORN Arlene M. Eichorn, 63, Emporia, and formerly of Topeka, died Tues¬day, July 1, 2008, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. Arlene M. Mulanax was born at Holton, on Feb. 9, 1945. She was the daughter of Clayton and Alta (Mulanax) Ray. Arlene was raised by her grandparents, Lewis and Eunice Mulanax. She married Gary Eichorn March 10, 2002, at Lake Wabaunsee. He survives of the home. Other family members include: Daughter Julie Kester, Wichita; step¬son, Gregg Eichorn, McPherson; grandchildren Tyler, Jordan, Mason, Grace, Aiden, Avery Kester and Katelyn Eichorn. There are also cousins and uncles and their families surviving. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Arlene was a descendent and member of the Citizen Band, Potawatomi Indians. She graduated from Delia High School, and then attended Washburn University, Topeka. After school she was a legal secretary for law offices in Topeka, then was an administra-tive assistant and personnel manager for PTMW in Meriden and later To¬peka. In 2000, she began work at the Flint Hills Community Health Cen¬ter, Emporia. Funeral services were conducted at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia, Saturday, July 5. The service was conducted by Rev. Tom Miller. Cremation followed services. A memorial has been established with SOS of Emporia, with contributions to be sent in care of the funeral home.
