    Mrs. Arnetta G. Joy
    Mrs. Arnetta Gene Joy, 61, of 1550 Chelsea Drive, died Friday, June 19. 1987, at a Topeka hospital.

    Mrs. Joy was a registered nurse and worked at Stormont-Vail Regional Medical Center and the Colmery-O'Neil Veterans Administration Medical Center.

    She was born Jan. 14, 1926, at Osawatomie, the daughter of Archibald and Maggie Read Reevis. She lived in Leavenworth before moving to Topeka in 1949.

    Mrs. Joy was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church of Topeka and the United Presbyterian Women of the church. She had been a Girl Scout leader in Topeka for many years.

    She married Ronald E. Joy Nov. 26, 1948, at Leavenworth. He survives.

    Other survivors include three daughters, Linda Jackson, Kay Joy and Donna Joy, all of Topeka; a son, Robert Joy. Bakersfield, Calif.; two sisters, Myrtle Bacon. Colorado Springs, Colo., and Ruby Bell, Car-bondale. Ill.; a brother, William Daugherty, Sterling; and eight grandchildren.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka. Burial will be in Joy-Franklin U.B.I. Cemetery northwest of Rossville. Relatives and friends may visit from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Presbyterian Church, 210 N.W. Menninger Road. 66617
