    Martha Long
    Martha Long, 92, of Topeka, Kansas died Monday, January 25, 2016 at Rossville Health Care and Rehabilitation.

    She was born June 2,1923 in Neosho, Missouri, the daughter of Marshall and Alice (Russell) Robinson. She married Donald Long on April 1,1945 in Tyler, Texas. They later divorced.

    Martha enjoyed crocheting and jigsaw puzzles.

    Survivors include her sons, Donald (Peggy) Long of
    Topeka, and Tony (Gloria) Long of Manhattan, Kansas; a sister, Edna (Charles) Young of Albuquerque, New Mexico; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by a son Roger, her grandson, Scott, her five brothers, and three sisters.

    Martha will lie in state from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.,
    Thursday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.

    Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

    In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in her memory to the American Cancer Society, sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
