    Genevieve Reichard
    Genevieve Reichard, 91, St. Marys, died Tuesday, January 13, 1998, at the Rossville Valley Manor.

    She was born May 28,1906, in St. Marys, the daughter of Walter “Watts” and Martha Kemp Sadler.

    She had lived in the St. Marys community all of her life. She was graduated from St. Marys High School. She and her husband, Charles, fanned in the Greenwood community southwest of St Marys for many years. She was a member of the St. Marys United Methodist Church and the Friendly Day Circle at the church. She was a member of the Kaw Social Club.

    She was married to Charles D. Reichard on September 15, 1926, at Topeka. He died April 29,1977.

    Several nieces and nephews survive, among them are Erma Smith, Cletus Perry and Gerald Perry, all of St. Marys.

    Her service was Friday at Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery south of Belvue. Family visitation was Thursday from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Marys United Methodist Church and sent in care of the funeral home. Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
