    Michelle Scott Cowger
    Michelle Scott Cowger, 53, Parker, Colorado, passed away Friday, May 24th, 2013 at Parker Adventist Hos¬pital.

    Michelle was born March 21, 1960 in Corning, Kansas to Gilbert and Sally (Broxterman) Scott. She married Larry Cowger March 21, 1991. Her parents, along with her son Lee Christopher Patterson pre¬ceded her in death.

    She was a graduate of Holy Name Grade School and Hayden High School. She was an amazing bas¬ketball and volleyball athlete.

    Michelle is survived by her husband, Larry Cowger, Parker, Colorado; son, Joseph Duncan "Joe" Cowger, Seattle, Washington; two stepdaughters, Caitlin Cowger, New York, and Hannah Cowger, Kansas City; 4 brothers, Randy Scott, Phoenix, Arizona, Keith Scott, Cincinnati, Ohio, Glen Scott, Topeka, Kansas, Ralph Scott, Kansas City, Kansas, and two sisters, Marsha Scott DeDonder, St. Marys, Kansas, and Sheryl Scott Bahr, Rossville. Family will greet friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd., Topeka KS 66614.

    Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Saturday at Mater Dei Holy Name at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in St. Mary's, Kansas.
    As her son Lee Christopher battled cancer and leu¬kemia through his young life the family wishes to have memorial contributions made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital sent in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.kevinbrennanfamily.com.

    Michelle was born March 21, 1960, incom¬ing, Kan., to Gilbert and Sally (Broxterman) Scott. She married Larry Cow¬ger March 21, 1991. Her parents and her son, Lee Christopher Patterson, preceded her in death.
    She was a graduate of Holy Name Grade School and Hayden High School. She was an amazing basketball and volleyball athlete.
    Michelle is survived by her husband, Larry Cowger of Parker, Colo.; son, Joseph Duncan “Joe" Cowger of Seattle, Wash.; two stepdaugh¬ters, Caitlin Cowger of New York and Hannah Cowger of Kansas City; four brothers, Randy Scott of Phoenix, Ariz., Keith Scott of Cincinnati, Ohio, Glen Scott of Topeka, Kan., and Ralph Scott, Kansas City, Kan., and two sisters, Marsha Scott DeDonder of St. Marys, Kan., and Sheryl Scott Bahr of Rossville, Kan.
