Mr. and Mrs. Glen Sebring announce the marriage of their daughter, Letha May to Benj. Otis Marney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Marney, on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 6, at the home of the bride. The members of the immediate families were the only guests.

The Rev. Charles Wogan of St. Marys read the impressive double ring ceremony, which was performed before a bank of roses and garden flowers, and the nuptial music was played by Miss Elzora Marney, sister of the groom.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a navy blue faille suit with corsage of red roses and white carnations and she carried a white bible, a gift from her parents.

Mrs. Marian Eakes, of Topeka, was maid of honor and wore a tan suit with a corsage of white carnations.

Jim Marney of Wichita, brother of the groom, acted as best man.

The mother of the bride chose for her daughter's wedding a dress of black crepe trimmed with a white lace yoke, and wore a corsage of pink and white carnations.

Mrs. Marney, mother of the groom was attired in a navy blue taffeta dress and wore a corsage of white and pink carnations.

Following the wedding a reception was held. A two tier wedding cake topped with pink roses, formed a lovely centerpiece and was served with ice cream and punch.

Mrs. Harold Sebring cut the cake and Mrs. Terpening, grandmother of the bride assisted with the serving.

The bride is a graduate of both Rossville grade and high school and for the past three years has been employed at Capper Publication as filing clerk.

The groom graduated from Rossville High school and has been serving in the navy for three years. At present he is stationed at San Francisco, Calif.

After a short wedding trip to Wichita and points in Oklahoma, they returned to Rossville Wednesday and will leave next week for San Francisco, Calif., to make their home.
