    Doris Widerburg, 84, Lawrence, formerly of Overbrook, died Thursday, Feb. 22,2018, at her home.

    She was born Sept. 28,1933, in Valencia, the daughter of Virgil H. and Agnes Banaka Snoddy. She graduated from Rossville High School. She had lived in the Overbrook community for 25 years. She had also previously lived in Lawrence for nine years, Topeka for 14 years and Los Angeles, Calif., for five years.

    Ms. Widerburg was a homemaker.

    Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth G. Stewart and husband Alan, Lenexa, and Jennifer L. Unekis and husband David, Lawrence; a son, Lewis Tyrone “Ty” Rinehart and wife Nancy, Baldwin City; five grandchildren, Rory Moran, Joshua Moran and Adeline Grace Unekis, Aubrey and Rhett Rinehart; and a great-grandson, Corwin Moran.

    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton with burial to follow in Netawaka Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until service time.
