    Betty Ilene Whitehead
    Betty Ilene Whitehead, 67, Topeka, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1994, at her home.

    She was born Sept. 21, 1927, at Topeka, the daughter of Lucky Albert and Mabel Warren Woollard. She attended Topeka High School and had lived in Topeka all her life.

    She was a sales clerk and was last employed at the Jones Store Company.

    She married James L. Whitehead on July 15, 1947, at Topeka. He survives.

    Mrs. Whitehead was a member of Seabrook United Church of Christ and A.A.R.P.

    Other survivors include two daughters, Susan Badura, Rossville, and LeAnn Whitehead, Topeka; three sons, Richard Whitehead, Houston, Dr. John Whitehead, Herington, and Russell Whitehead, Topeka; two sisters, June Dockery and Shirley Boyles, both of Topeka; a brother, Wayne Woollard, Topeka; and 13 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

    Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Whitehead will lie in state after 1 p.m. today at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
