Obituary- Holz, William 1

William Holz
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys for William E. Holz, 67, St. Marys, who died Monday in a Topeka convalescent center where he was transferred from a Topeka hospital several months earlier. He had been admitted to the hospital Aug 20, 1974, after he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage.

He was born Feb. 28, 1908, at Paxico and spent most of his life in the Rossville and St. Marys communities. He had been a member of Wells Creek United Church of Christ south of Belvue. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was married to Ann Cullen March 25, 1949, at Holton. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Melissa Champion, 3366 Mayo; two brothers, Fred Holz, St. Marys, and John Holz, Grandview, Mo.; and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Reser, St. Marys.

Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.

WILLIAM E. HOLZ
William E. Holz, 67, St. Marys, died Monday, October 6, 1975 in Topeka.

He was born February 28, 1908 near Paxico. On March 25, 1949, he married Ann Cullen in Holton. He lived in the Rossville and St. Marys areas all his life.

He was a retired carpenter.

Survivors are his wife of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Melissa Champion, Topeka; two brothers, Fred Holz, St. Marys, and John Holz, Grandview, Mo.; and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Reser, St. Marys.

He was member of the Wells Creek United Church of Christ.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Verschelden Chapel with burial in the Rossville Cemetery.
