Obituary- May, Donald 1

Donald D. May
Military services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Parker Mortuary for Donald D. May, IS, Delia, who was killed Wednesday in an accident at Corpus Christi Naval Air Station, Tex.

A Navy spokesman said May was killed when he apparently was caught as hangar doors closed. He had been working on a plane in the hangar, the spokesman said.

He was born June 9, 1952, in Eads, Colo., and attended schools in Rossville and Silver Lake He joined the Navy Oct. 16, 1969.

He was a member of Silver Lake Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Mrs. Mary May, Delia, and Alvin May, Hardner; a brother, Ronald May, Silver Lake; four sisters, Mrs. Shirley Taylor, Ottawa; Mrs. Wiletta Ray, Topeka, and Misses Kathleen May and Leatrice May, both of the home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pierson. Denison; Mrs. Donna Gobel, Alva, Okla., and Albert May, Hardner; and his great- grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tower, Lakewood, Calif.

Military graveside services will be in Prairie Home Cemetery.
