Obituary- McDiffett, Bruce 2

Bruce E. McDiffett
Bruce E. McDiffett, 51, died Dec. 22, 2010, at his home in Rossville. He was born Sept. 28, 1959, at Council Grove, the son of the Earl W. and Phyllis J. Easter McDiffett. The family moved to Topeka and then to Rossville following the 1966tornado. He graduated from Rossville High School in 1977.

Bruce worked for Anderson Custom Booths and Upholstery in Rossville for many years. He was an avid “Dawgs” sports fan. Bruce was a lifetime member of the North America Hunting Club and was a member of Ducks Unlimited for many years. He wanted everyone to wear camouflage for his funeral.

Survivors include his brother, Steve McDiffett of Rossville; a niece, Josey McDiffett and a nephew, Trace McDiffett, both of Rossville; along with many cousins.

Memorial services were Dec. 29 at Rossville United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bruce E. McDiffett Memorial Fund and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple, St. Marys, KS, 66536.
