James Preston Huggins
"Huggie"
James Preston Huggins, "Huggie," age 73, peacefully went home on May 14th, 2015 at his residence.

He was born the son of Joseph V. and Muriel M. Huggins on Sept 13th, 1941 in San Antonio, TX. He served in the Navy from 1960 to 1964. He returned to Topeka, KS, where he was employed as a clerk at Santa Fe Railway until retiring in 2001.

Survivors includes two sons, Travis Huggins and Garrett (Dawn) Huggins. He also leaves behind six grandchildren: Brice and Damien Huggins, Zyte Huggins, Haleigh and Maren Peterson, and Gunnar Lewis. Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM on May 26th, 2015 at the Delia Cemetery. Relatives and friends are welcome to join in a celebration of his life at the Delia Community Center shortly afterwards.
